Sixty-two is not an age for mourning.
In time one finds the courage to endure.
Xylophones may tinkle without warning,
Taking with the wind a tuneful tour.
Yet of something else one can be sure:

There is within us all, forever dawning,
Whether chaste or wisely immature,
Of hunger wrought, a joy unbound and pure.
