Knowing much about the marriage bed
And all that lies between a man and wife,
This couple celebrates a rich, full life,
Having glimpsed the ground where angels tread.
Years pass like clouds across a windy sky,
Dark and light by turns as chaos rules.
A couple can achieve, though passion cools,
Vistas wide and green where bluebells lie
Etched against the grass like pale jewels.
