S ister Margaret's
been here many years
I n service to the children and the
Lord.
S he is one lovely note within a
chord
T oo vast and beautiful for human
ears.
E ven those who've carved out bright
careers
R emember long and fondly one who
gave
M ore love to their young hearts than they could
save,
A river sweeping through their childhood
tears;
R emember, too, the beauty of a
life
G iven as an act of charity,
A ll of it,
not one desire held back.
R uled by need, they pause in
harmony,
E ven in the midst of daily strife,
T o
see in her a passion that they lack.
