Thirty-four comes barreling down a highway
Hell-bent on some blue vision of success.
In joining avidly the adult race,
Remodeling the inner voice and face,
The valiant one abandons happiness
Yet hopes to find some love along the way.

For years our hero will make do with less,
On course towards some long-cogitated place,
Uncertain where the treasure chest once lay,
Regretting deep dark down a loss of grace.
