Charisse is soft and cuddly, chocolate brown,
Harboring a passion hard as steel.
As men imagine their sweet teddy bear,
Reality waits silent by the phone.
In her someday some destiny, full grown,
Shall all the rites of yesterday repeal,
Severing the rights quite rightly there,
Even as she goes her way alone.
