Sixty-two refuses to grow old.
In spirit she is young, although in body ...
X-rays show a loss of bone, and yet
The mind is neither less sharp nor more dotty.
Years run just as fast as they are told.

Though winter winds may whistle through the wold,
Warmth may be sustained by will and toddy,
Often taken with a bit of zest.
